This morning I got up bright and early to make the final preparations for the trip. I changed the oil in the bike, gave it one last look over to make sure all is well before this long journey, and filed it up with gas. The bike is almost completely packed.
As I am preparing to go, my thoughts have turned to my wife and children. I will miss them very much. I know they will be well taken care of while I am gone by our friends and family, but they will always be in my thoughts. I have not left yet and am already missing them.
